This Class

This class was fun. I wasn't  here for the whole quarter but for the time I was here it was fun. In the future you should have more projects and no more timed typing test because those were not fun. You should have more really fun scavenger hunts because those were fun and no homework. You should give us more coloring activity because those were fun as well and keep typing web because it actually helped me and I type faster now and it was kinda fun going threw the levels.But you should make the blog post shorter and give us a page of things to write about so we don't have to make up stuff like whats our favorite shape or color. And make them shorter like 1 minute and 50 seconds. you should never give us tests again.

My Favorite Animal

I love animals that is why i want to be a vet.  There is many animals i could choose from but my favorite animal is an otter. I love otters they are so cute and they love to swim and play. They are adorable and I would get one if I could . I love there furry faces and black button nose. They also have really cute paws. When I go to the zoo they are my favorite thing. I really don't know why they are my favorite animal they just are. If i could I would just make a huge in ground pool and make a encloser and just keep like nine thousand of them. I like general animals too like dogs cats and those kinds of things but I love otters more.

Dog And Trooper

I picked the one with the dog and the army person. I chose this one because it looked so cute. But the story is that one day a father had to leave his kids. The reason was because his city was at war and he needed to fight. Then he went through a brutal training and got went off. Then he was fighting and a little girl  was waving a white flag to say they surrender so the guy took the little girl and helped her then she told him she forgot something and whistled and a dobermen came running so they all left together and were a family.

Write A Curse

if I were to write a story on if someone opened a box what curse would they have there is many possibility. But my choice would be that if they opened the box they would get blinded forever. Then they would have to relive there life over and over again and still remember everything.So they would just keep getting born over and over again.But they also wouldn't see but would be with the same family. Also there is a trillion dollars in it that you would get too keep. if that was my curse I would not open the box even tho there was money.

Narnia

I where i would go out of the doors but it would probably be a dresser. The reason i would go in that door is because i would like to meet the big lion and and all the charectors. i would love to meet the beavers as well because there funny. and all the animals in the story can talk so that's a bonus i would turn all the bad animals aginsed the evil witch. and i could become a princess or queen. i would also be able to escape the real world when ever i wanted i could also meet Thomas because hes nice.

My Favorite TV Shows

My favorite shows are adventure time, sponge-bob, the big bang theory , and animation shows. I like many different things I like any animation shows like family guy american dad or south park . I still like little kid shows too. I still like sponge-bob from when I was little and adventure time I like these because there funny and entertaining. My Favorite Shape

My favorite shape would probably be a cube i like cubes because they are 3d and there pretty. You can also put stuff in them like books or a pencil or a hat. Or, you could wrap a gift for someone and it can be colorful. This is also a very useful shape because of all of its edges like if the cube falls it wont break. Also you can use it in math and science. And most of the objects in our life our cube shaped.

Measuring Bellringer

I  think that this picture makes me think of measuring time for some reason or measuring a dogs tail or a cats whisker. I don't know why I think of this stuff. I just think about every thing to do with measuring or anything. Week 1 Of School

I like this school better than my old school blow because it actually has a bell and lockers. And u get to ware normal clothes and not uniforms. You also get really good lunch unlike my old school but we did get to learn Spanish at my old school so that was pretty cool. But at blow we had lockers we just never used them so we had to carry our stuff around all day also I was pretty popular at my old school. Like everybody knew me and I was friends with them. I think it was because I was nice to everybody and I staid out of the drama like all the time.

I love TV and video games. I love animals and want to be a Vet when im older. Im also good at drawing and im funny. Im usually not shy at all but this is my first week. And I hate running and basketball and football.

My favorite animal is a otter and I like dinosaurs. I also like cookie dough and candy. I have allot of pets such as 2 dogs 2 cats 5 fish  and im getting a bunny soon too. I hate spiders and moths and most bugs. my favorite colors are blue and purple.

My experiences with computers are OK I guess I know how to do power point and get on face book and you tube. But I think that is pretty much all I know how to do with computers tho. Well I also know how to set a computer up like the backgrounds and icons and everything in the start menu. But I don't know how to fix a computer or get a virus off or how to prevent a virus. So that is pretty much my experiences with computers and the things I don't know how to do.

About Computer Class

I have loved this class because Mrs. DeBolt let us talk a lot. I have learned a lot on all the parts of the computer. Like the monitor, tower, cd ram, keyboard, mouse, etc. I also liked the projects we did. I usually don't like projects but these were really fun. This class was amazing. I did not like computers in 5th grade but I liked it a lot this year. Hopefully I get a good schedule and get to be in this class again. I liked this class also because we got to sit by our friends. I know Daniel, Brennan and I talk a lot but I liked the fact that you did not switch us up. I also liked the timed typing tests. I feel like I can type a lot faster now. Next quarter we are going to art and hopefully that is a good class.

Orlando, Florida

Like I said earlier we are going to Orlando Friday to go on vacation. It is going to be fun because we are meeting our friends that moved out of town there. I have not seen them since last December. I can't go to school Friday because it is a 16 hour drive. So we have to leave at like 4 a.m. to be there on time. I don't really like having a vacation during school because when you come back you get a whole bunch of homework. Especially when it is the start of the final quarter.

Orlando, Florida

I am  going to Orlando for vacation. We are leaving March 8 and not getting back until March 18. We are going to see the St.Louis Cardinals Spring Training game against the Atlanta Braves. I am glad we are going to Orlando because it is much warmer there than it is here. We are also going to Orlando to watch the NBA game. The Orlando Magic are playing the LA Lakers. We get to see Dwight Howard return to his court and we get to see Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash too. I think this one week trip will be really fun.

She Is Not Dead

When I was 16 years old I was told that my math teacher died. But now I am starting to think she is not. A week before our High School reunion I received a mysterious letter that seems to be in code. It us much similar to the puzzles she used to give us while we were still in her class. I am on my way to the reunion and i am wondering now if she is dead, got fired, retired, or just got kidnapped. But we did not see her for months because we thought she was dead. When I arrive at the reunion all my classmates all have the same code. We found out the code and we now know that she was not dead she has moved out of state for issues she has had in the past.

Baseball Practice

I have a baseball practice tonight at 7:30 to 9:00 tonight. We have been practicing for about 5 weeks now and should be good. Baseball is a good sport but my favorite sport is basketball because there is always action going on. Our baseball practice is at the All Star Batting Cages in Herculaneum. By Car Credit City.
Our baseball practice is always serious until the end then we play a little game that is really fun to play. We get one pitch and if we miss we are out and if we hit it we get a guy on base for our team. Our team is really good. We were all on the same team like 2 years ago and last year we split up so nowmost of us are on the same team again.

We have a four day weekend for Valentines Day. So we have a long time to be off. We have a school dance on February 22. And then our school year will come to an end.

The Best Place Ever

The best place in the world is home. You get to sleep, eat, shoot hoops in your driveway, play video games, and watch T.V. It is the best place ever because that is where you live. I like Wisconsin Dells, the beach and a lot more but the best place ever is my home. I like my home a lot because i am fortunate to have a house. that is my favorite place in the world. But in my house we have an in ground pool in the backyard.

Baseball Practice

I have baseball practice tonight at 7:30-9:00. We have it at the Herculaneum Batting Cages. Our team is mostly from Festus. Some got to Hillsboro, and one goes to North County. Brennan is also on my baseball team. Oh and Logan Byerly is too. I play 1st base, 3rd base, and I pitch. We had our first practice 2 weeks ago and we are getting better. Also a lot of the kids on my team were on the Festus Basketball team for the 7th Grade.

The Memory I Want To Bottle Up

The moment I want to bottle up is when my family Went to Wisconsin Dells last year. It was a good and fun week. We had some other friends go there too. We had friends that had moved to Mississippi go there too. We went in the winter so it was snowing and we went to like 5 different water parks and we went tubing, and snowboarding. It was a really fun time. We stayed until New Years and left on January 1st of 2012. That was a year ago and it was an amazing time and experience.

The Start of Baseball Season

The basketball season has came to an end. But baseball season is just around the corner. We have a team that's mostly from Festus. We are called the Festus Tigers. We only have had one practice, but we have another one tonight at 7:30, and another one on Sunday at 4. I am glad to start baseball but wish there is more basketball left because it is my favorite sport to play. We have our first tournament in the end of March. But that's early for baseball because it is still cold outside. We play up in St.Louis mostly, but we play in a few tournaments in Mississippi, and maybe one in Tennessee. I am not happy that basketball is over though.

School on Veterans Day

I think it is just as important to learn on Martin Luther King Jr. day than Veterans day. The school district should have a half day for both days. But King has led the nation to let both colored and white people go to the same school, restaurants, public places, restrooms, etc. But also on Veterans day you should learn and hear speeches from the people who have fought in wars. It should be equally the same for learning about both days and what people have done with this nation. If I was on the board of the school district I would make both of those days half days. So maybe next year we can have both Martin Luther King Jr. day and Veterans day both half days next year.Or you could just have both those days off since we have Christmas, Thanksgiving breaks maybe we could have both those days off too.

Germany Withdraw 300 Tons Of Gold From The United States

Germany has $183 billion of  gold. About 66% of the gold is kept outside the country. Now the bank is making a lot of the money. 300 tons of it is under city of Manhattan. They are predicting that they will have
of it in 2020 in Frankfurt, Germany. The Cold War-era moved there Soviet invasion and the gold to the west. Germany will also get 374 tons from Banque France. New York and London will keep half of Germany stores.

Hi my name is Cole Martin. I'm a 7th grader at Festus Middle School. I'm on the basketball team and we have a game tonight. We play against Grandview they are pretty good so it will be a tough and hard fought game. Tonight they are playing in OUR house!! So the outcome of the game should be us winning. Also I'm a little nervous because we haven't had this big of around since our 1st game!

I'm liking you as a teacher. Because you are easy going and very nice. I know some teachers that would not allow us to talk or get this loud at all. I know you have had Devon 2nd quarter he's super funny and easy going but when it comes to class time I feel like that he doesn't work as hard as he would out of school ( no offense to him ). Although I really like you as a teacher you are definitely one of my favorite teacher! Along with Mrs. Walker, Mrs.Davis , and Mrs.Uding.

I am really liking Technology this year. I didn't get to do Computers last year because I was in Band. But I like Technology more than Band. My favorite thing about this class so far is the typing lesson's and the typing tests. Although the blog is okay, it's not better than the other two. Well that's it.

Creative Prompt

Once upon a time, there was train tracks that have never been ridden on. It has been lonely for 5 years. But his only wish is someday he could be ridden on. Although he hasn't been ridden on, he was just feeling that the next day a train could come through his tracks. On the next day it was the last day of fall, but he didn't see a train until night. He saw a big light, it could of been a flashlight, but he didn't think it was until this one teenage boy walked over the tracks with a flashlight. He didn't know what the teenage boy was doing. But the he walked off into the nearby neighborhood. The next day was the first day of winter! But then that night it started to snow. And the next day a train was carrying coal and logs to the nearby neighborhood and it passed his tracks. The End.

Basketball Game

Tonight we have a basketball game vs. Grandview. It's at home, so it's at Festus! We have had a few tough games like Jackson and Hillsboro, but that's not an excuse. I have been healthy all season and that is good because our team had like 5 people sick for 3 straight games and that was tough without our whole teambut we hopefully will get back on our streak tonight and be ready for the rematch against Sunrise which is also at home! We lost to them the first time and asked for a rematch when our whole team is healthy. So he accepted it and we are playing them again. Our first time we had our whole team practice since Christmas break was last week! So hopefully we are ready for our last 5 games.
